Claudia Imes, Director of the School Based Wellness Centers and Randy Evetts, Project Director for the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative for Pueblo City Schools will review data from the November 2008 Healthy Kids Colorado Survey administered in Pueblo City Schools.  They will present an overview of the School Based Wellness Centers and the support they offer to students and families.  They will also speak about the Safe Schools/Healthy Students Initiative and its importance in the integration of physical and mental health services within Pueblo City Schools.  The importance of community partnerships in sustaining services will also be addressed.
