Minutes from meeting of July 11, 2008 2. Recap: Development of PAAN ? Task Force is forgoing other projects till PAAN is established ? Committee has developed initial Vision and Mission ? Survey performed on broad sample of NP Directors about priorities ? Community and state resources and collaborators have been identified. 3. Results of July 2008 survey of NP Directors, re: PANN priorities. ? Additions to survey by today’’s attendees 4. Identify strengths of our community of nonprofits, on which to build 5. Draft timeline for next steps in developing PAAN 6. Identify criteria for success: ? What (to you) would constitute success for PAAN? 7. Next meeting Pueblo Area Association of Nonprofits Vision (approved): There is an association of nonprofit organizations that serves as a resource and represent nonprofit organizations in Pueblo County regarding local, state, and national issues and concerns. Mission (preliminary): The association’s mission is to support the nonprofit community by: raising awareness of the important role nonprofits play in bettering our communities; increasing understanding of the critical need for financial support of their efforts and programs; building partnerships among the nonprofit, governmental and business sectors.
