If you are new to grantwriting or if you have limited experience, join us as we explore the basics of successfully planning and implementing your grantwriting program, including:

General tips for writing successful proposals
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Identifying appropriate grant sources
Information about the new Colorado Common Grant Application will be available.

Who should attend? These workshops are valuable for executive directors, development directors, board members who are interested in telling your story in the most effective manner.

Presenter: Brinah L. Vincent, CFRE, has over fifteen years of training, administration and fundraising experience in Boston, Denver, and Colorado Springs. An Associate of the Center for Nonprofit Excellence in Colorado Springs and a graduate of Boston University’s MBA in Public/Nonprofit Management program, Brinah is a specialist in the area of fundraising and nonprofit administration including organizational planning and resource development. The founding president of AFP Southern Colorado and primary counsel for Effective Fundraising Management, she is a frequent lecturer in the area of fundraising and nonprofit management.

Snacks will be provided, but lunch will not be served.
