“MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES FOR NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING CLIENTS: FINDING SOLUTIONS”

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 29, 2008, 2-4 PM
ROBERT HOAG RAWLINGS LIBRARY
100 E. ABRIENDO AVENUE
CONFERENCE ROOM B

Our first roundtable was an outstanding success so we have scheduled a follow up meeting. Mental health agencies and other providers have found that there are not enough qualified counselors and therapists to serve the growing numbers of non-English speaking clients or those not fluent in English.

WE HAVE IDENTIFIED THESE INITIAL GOALS:

• To determine the scope of the problem
• To identify any strategies participants may have discovered
• To plan collaborative action steps
• To evaluate sources of financial aid
• To identify current resources and partnerships available

We hope to see you at the Round Table. Please feel free to bring others with you. To make reservations or for more information, please call Betty Nufer at (719) 544-5720 or email betty.nufer @ alz.org or Richard Pinneau: Richard @ PuebloServes.org (821-9200)

Refreshments will be provided.
Please RSVP by February 28, 2008
