A media roundtable will held on Jan. 9, 2007 to assist businesses and non-profit organizations in gaining a better understanding of how to get information published in newspapers, on the radio, or on television.
The Southern Colorado Press Club will host the media roundtable from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The event will be held in the Robert Hoag Rawlings Library in the first floor Community Room. The library is at 100 East Abriendo Ave.
The 1 ½ hour seminar, entitled, ‚ÄúGetting your Message Out - Working with the Media,‚Äù is oriented toward area business and non-profits who want a better understanding of how to have productive interaction with the media. Participants will learn tips of the trade from media professionals via a panel discussion with representatives from local media outlets.
