Principles and Practices for Nonprofit Excellence: Governance, Transparency & Accountability
Wednesday, February 20th, 9am-12pm
 
This training will lead you through the most essential practices for nonprofit organizations to consider in the areas of governance and accountability. Learn about the most critical aspects of working with boards and why transparency in your work is important to demonstrate accountability and mission accomplishment. Recommended attendees include board members, executive directors, and nonprofit staff.
 
Course Fee: $25 Colorado Nonprofit Association members, $35 nonmembers

Building Trust With Your Donor Base: Increasing your Transparency and Accountability to Attract More Donors
Wednesday, February 20th, 12:30pm-2:30pm
 
The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University recently issued the results of study on giving and found that donors would give more if nonprofits did a better job of demonstrating the impact of their donation dollars. During this two and a half hour workshop, you will learn various aspects of how to increase your nonprofit's credibility with the donating public through demonstrating transparency and accountability.</p>
