NOTES ON PAST PROGRAMS

October 2006 meeting:
Richard Pinneau, PhD, returned to discuss issues you might want to consider when exploring adding alternative healing methods to the care of your health problems. Richard spent over twenty years running a North Carolina holistic wellness center. There he saw many forms of alternative therapy tried: sometimes with great benefit, sometimes with great disappointment. He discussed his own experience and that of other clients with alternative therapies that invoked such principles as Life Energy, Chi/Ki, yoga, healing touch, visualization, breathing... you name it. There was a wide-ranging discussion within the group about experiences with alternatives that are safe, reasonable, and might be beneficial to chronic conditions and symptoms.
