Affordable Services

The East Side Child Care Center provides slidding-fee enrollment services for children enrolled 16 hours or more per week. The sliding fee scale is subsidized by allocations from United Way of Pueblo County, the Pueblo County Department of Housing and Human Services, and the City of Pueblo’s Department of Housing and Citizen Services.

Preschool Programs

Preschool programs for three and four year old children are integrated into the Center’s daily routine, supported by a partnership with Pueblo City Schools (District 60) from September through May. Early childhood education enhances the children’s school readiness skills, including listening and language skills; shape recognition; eye/hand coordination; sensory evaluation and integration; problem solving; social and conflict resolutions skills; initiative; self-control; confidence; fine motor skills; gross motor skills; creativity, and so much more. Field trips are provided for varied learning experiences.
