About Central Christian Church
Central Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) has been in Pueblo, Colorado for more than one hundred years. The church has grown and prospered over the years thanks to the Lord’s blessing and many spirit-led people that have come to call Central their church home.</p>
<p>Disciples congregations can be found in every state and in most communities; large and small. We are supported by a general and regional organization, but each church is autonomous. People often ask me what the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) believe. I tell them that while each church is autonomous and has its own unique personality, in general we believe:</p>
<p>In Holy Communion every Sunday that is open to all believers.
In believers baptism by immersion.
That Jesus Christ is the Son of God and our Savior.
That the gifts of ministry belong to all people.
That the Bible is God’s Word.
That judgment belongs to God alone.</p>
<p>Now we are waiting for you. It’s true, because we believe that every person who comes into the circle of this special fellowship was sent by God Himself. Its not by accident that we have the joy of meeting you. So, above all else we want to express Christ’s love to you with genuine, heartfelt warmth. We’re eager to know you, and we’re excited to share with you the marvelous ways God is working in our church.</p>
<p>It won’t take you long to discover that this is truly a family, rich in the relationships that matters most. Growing together, we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn, and we reach out to our world with life-transforming truth. We reach out to you, as well. Our doors are open. Our hearts are open, too. If you’ve been thinking, praying, searching and hoping for a place to belong, we say…Welcome Home!

Pre-school - Weekdays
Central Christian Preschool is an early learning experience for children between the ages of three and five.
There are two sessions most days. The schedule is as follows:
A.M. 8:45-11:30 MTWThF
CENTRAL CHRISTIAN PRESCHOOL PURPOSE:
To provide Christian love and care.
To teach God’s love for us.
To encourage the love of learning by providing opportunities to explore and create.
To provide learning skills.
To develop a positive self concept.
To train by development.
Many activities are offered including: individual and group activities, social learning experiences, music and rhythm activities, arts and crafts, Bible curriculum, field trips, nutrition experiences, large and small muscle development, listening skills, math concepts, language development, pre-reading skills, school readiness screening, and science.
